In addition to high school football, basketball, baseball, and softball games, Konawa is also home to a Band Day competition which is held on the first Saturday in October. Typically attended by 35 to 45 Oklahoma marching bands of all sizes, Band Day begins with a parade downtown which is quickly followed by field competition that lasts into the night. It's an event to remember for all who participate and attend.
