The following are the fees for Solid Waste Collection Services
(1) Single family residence $10.00 (2) Duplex residence, two families $20.00 (3) Duplex or apartment, more than two families (per family) $10.00 (4) Businesses, basic minimum rate, one pick up per week, businesses using excess services will be charged on an individual pro rata basis, based on expense of providing service. $12.00 (5) Outside of City Limits $15.00 (6) The charge for collecting and hauling bulk refuse; ie, tree limbs, furniture, some appliances, etcetera will be a $25.00 minimum for 15 minutes of work and $25.00 per each 15 minutes additional time required. If special equipment must be used due to the size of the item, the equipment charge will be $75.00 per hour. Note: All Citizen's are required to place the trash in tied plastic bags by the road on pickup days. The bags can either be in trash cans or just in the bags. If the bags are in a trash can, please drill holes in the bottom of the can so excess rain can drain out. Cans without holes can not be dumped by our employees. The residences are picked up once a week. |
